QA Software Engineer / Test Automation Engineer
Role overview
As an all‑round automation tester you are the ambassador of quality assurance and a driving force for continuous improvement. You will work as part of a DevOps team where testing is an integral part of development, contributing to the maintenance and further development of the system and ensuring functionality is delivered securely and in an automated manner.
Responsibilities
Lead and execute manual and automated testing activities.
Set up and implement automated testing and test automation frameworks.
Ensure system stability and integrity while enabling fast requirement-to-delivery turnaround.
Advocate quality and propose improvements; participate proactively in team decisions and challenge proposed solutions.
Collaborate closely with developers and other team members to deliver high‑quality, high‑value products.
Document work, processes and insights clearly.
Required skills & experience
Deep knowledge of test automation and related tools.
Experience setting up and implementing automated testing.
Experience working in Agile development environments using Scrum.
Clear and effective communication in English (written and verbal) — English mandatory.
Practical experience with: Linux, Git, XML/XSLT/JSON, Java, Python (basics), Selenium, Postman.
Experience with Behaviour Driven Development testing (Cucumber).
Experience with performance testing and performance testing tools.
Preferred / advantageous experience
Podman, Docker, (Oracle) SQL, VSC, Ansible, YAML, Dynatrace, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
RiskShield Software: Server & RAC.
Creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and Azure DevOps integration with reporting.
Experience with complex systems or banking environments.
Basic payment chain and sanctions regulation knowledge.
Operational and support activities experience.

- The candidate has to be available throughout the entire duration of the assignment
