Role
You will work as a Senior Data Scientist within a cybersecurity environment focused on AI-driven Identity & Access Management (IAM). Your work will develop AI and analytics solutions that strengthen cybersecurity controls and provide insights into complex security challenges, with ownership from discovery through to production delivery.
What you'll do
Identify, assess and prioritise AI/ML use cases for cybersecurity and IAM.
Develop machine-learning models to detect anomalous user behaviour, suspicious access patterns and potential security threats.
Build, test and deploy scalable AI/ML models for integration into cybersecurity platforms.
Design and implement AI, LLM and advanced analytics solutions, including prompt design, structured outputs, evaluation and monitoring.
Bring analytical solutions into production with a strong focus on maintainability, testing and software delivery.
Independently take ownership of projects from discovery through to delivery and support others as needed.
Collaborate with engineers, cybersecurity specialists and business stakeholders.
Hard requirements
Highly proficient in Python, PySpark and SQL; able to write clean, maintainable, well-documented, production-ready code.
Significant experience building AI, LLM or advanced analytics solutions, including prompt design, structured outputs, evaluation, monitoring and responsible use of AI.
Experience with Databricks, MLflow, MLOps, deployment, CI/CD, testing or related software delivery practices.
Able to work independently and take ownership of projects from discovery through to delivery; able to support and mentor others.
Strong collaboration skills with experience working alongside engineers, cybersecurity specialists and business stakeholders.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Preferred
Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Engineering or a related quantitative field.
Knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM), including high privilege access, authorization management and privileged session management.
Experience in regulated environments such as banking, financial services, risk, compliance or cybersecurity.
Knowledge of LLM evaluation and safety practices, including structured outputs, testing and basic implementation of guardrails.

- Demonstrably highly proficient in Python, Py
- Spark and SQL, including writing clean, maintainable, well-documented and production-ready code

Gunningscriteria
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Engineering or another related quantitative field
- Knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM), including areas such as High Privilege Access, authorisation management and Privilege Session Management
- Experience in a regulated environment such as banking, financial services, risk, compliance or cybersecurity
