Role: Senior Legal Counsel IT & Contracting (FG11)

Role summary
You will work on highly complex, organisation-wide and strategically important contracting-driven dossiers with a strong technology component. You provide senior legal advice in situations of uncertainty and high impact, translate legal and regulatory complexity into practical solutions, and influence decision-making at senior management level. You take ownership of major dossiers, lead and coordinate legal input across teams and act as a senior sparring partner for business leadership.
Responsibilities
Take ownership of large-scale and strategically important IT and contracting dossiers
Advise senior management on complex legal, regulatory and strategic matters
Lead and coordinate legal input across multidisciplinary initiatives
Negotiate and advise on strategic technology, sourcing and supplier agreements
Translate legal and regulatory developments into practical and strategic solutions
Contribute to legal frameworks, standards and continuous improvement
Act as a mentor, role model and subject matter expert within the team
Candidate profile
Education: Master degree in Dutch Law
Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience as legal counsel, attorney or corporate lawyer
Extensive experience with complex IT contracting, sourcing and strategic supplier relationships
Proven experience advising senior management in complex stakeholder environments
Strong risk-based and strategic mindset
Affinity with technology, digitalisation and AI
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
Recognised for sound judgement, credibility and the ability to navigate complexity
Languages: Fluent in Dutch and English

Eisen
- Language: English and Dutch mandatory
- Master degree in Dutch Law
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience as legal counsel, attorney or corporate lawyer
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- All submitted candidates must be in possession of a valid Passport or ID card, which must be taken along to the interview and at the start of the assignment
- The candidate has to be available throughout the entire duration of the assignment
- Suppliers can offer just one candidate for this position
- Please clearly indicate in the motivation field whether the candidate has any planned vacation or special leave during the duration of this assignment
- Candidate should be submitted exclusively to Magnit – Rabobank during the exclusivity period of 4 business days on one request
