Business Analyst
As a Business Analyst, you will turn strategic portfolio challenges into tangible business opportunities. You will identify and develop digital asset propositions that strengthen the client value proposition for Wholesale & Rural.
You will work across clients, product teams and specialist functions, bringing together stakeholders with different perspectives. You will translate developments in digital assets and complex business needs into validated propositions, business cases and clear options for decision-making.
What you’ll do
Originate and validate digital asset propositions in a wholesale banking context.
Develop and implement propositions that support the digital assets vision for Wholesale & Rural.
Translate client needs and external developments into scalable solutions and business models.
Build fact-based business cases and support proposition validation and go-to-market activities.
Build relationships and foster collaboration with clients, business partners and product teams.
Translate complex business needs into clear requirements, processes, options and decision points.
Create networks and collaborations across internal and external stakeholders with potentially contrasting needs.
What you bring
Proven experience in business analysis, preferably in banking or financial services.
2–5 years of relevant experience in banking, financial services, strategy, innovation or business development.
Demonstrable experience in portfolio optimisation within a large wholesale banking organisation (over 2,000 FTE), for example in risk density, income/assets or Risk Weighted Asset reduction.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to build fact-based business cases.
A commercial and entrepreneurial mindset, with strong stakeholder-management skills in a complex environment.
Experience with digital assets, structured finance or transaction banking is a strong plus.
Practical details
Working hours: 36 hours per week
Work arrangement: Hybrid, with two required office days per week, often Monday and Wednesday
Assignment duration: 9 months
Location requirement: You must live in the Netherlands
